Sundial

A minimalist sun-path clock for your home screen.

Sundial replaces the clock face with the sky. A 24-hour dial runs from midnight at the bottom to noon at the top, an arc marks today's daylight, and a small sun travels along it, so a glance tells you how much of the day is left.

Real times, worked out on your phone

The sun comes from NOAA's method and the moon from Meeus, for your approximate location or a city you pick.

Quiet by design

Sundial has no internet permission, so nothing can leave your phone. No accounts, no adverts, no analytics.

Light on battery

The time ticks by itself, and the sun redraws every 15 minutes with an alarm that never wakes your phone.
